Everyday use

The small dog stroller for city life

A dog stroller for small dogs up to 8 kg: the MOON Dog City comes along when your dog's legs get tired — along pavements, through the pedestrian zone, right up to the café table. At 8,5 kg you lift it into the boot on your own.

Up to 8 kg carrying capacity

The cabin is a single seat, built around one dog. As a dog buggy for small dogs, the City carries up to 8 kg. It is not a dog buggy for 10 kg — at nine or ten kilos you take the Country, which carries up to 15 kg. If your dog is close to a limit, choose the next size up.

Pushed, not towed

The City is a dog stroller you push: it runs ahead of you on the handlebar, not behind a bicycle. You see your dog the whole time. When you stop at a crossing or sit down at a table, two straps with carabiners keep your dog secured in the buggy.

Folded into the boot

The dog stroller is foldable and collapses in seconds, and the wheels come off at the push of a button. Folded, the City measures 62 × 51 × 28 cm and fits a standard car boot.

FAQ

Hundebuggy FAQ

Why should my dog use a buggy?

Whether a senior dog, a puppy, an injured pet, or a long hike — the buggy extends your shared range without overtaxing your dog. More walks together, at every stage of life.

Which dogs and weight classes is the MOON Dog suited to?

Three models, matched to your dog's weight: City for smaller dogs up to 8 kg. Country for dogs up to 15 kg, with all-wheel suspension and a Circ Air mattress with patented air circulation. Trailer Outdoor for larger dogs up to 35 kg, with puncture-proof air tires.

Does a dog buggy fit in a normal car trunk?

Yes. All models fold in seconds, and the wheels come off at the push of a button. Folded dimensions: City 62 × 51 × 28 cm · Country 72 × 55 × 30 cm · Trailer Outdoor 95 × 58 × 38 cm.

Can a dog buggy handle off-road and forest trails?

Yes — that is what the MOON Dog is built for. Country has all-wheel suspension and ETPU comfort wheels by BASF for demanding tours. Trailer Outdoor has puncture-proof air tires (Ø 30 cm) and a fully sprung axle for maximum off-road ability.

Will I feel embarrassed using a dog buggy — what will others think?

No. A dog buggy is an expression of responsibility — for senior dogs, after surgery, in busy city settings. Giving your dog mobility instead of leaving it at home is acting in the animal's best interest.

Isn't a dog buggy excessive — does it spoil the dog?

A buggy does not replace a walk. It enables longer days, dignified mobility for senior dogs, safe recovery after surgery, and relaxed company in busy city settings. Riding the MOON Dog gives your dog options — not indulgence.

Does a dog buggy make sense for a young, healthy dog too?

Yes. For puppies and young dogs, the buggy enables long outings without overloading sensitive joints during growth. Simply hop in, relax — and grow familiar with the world.

Do vets recommend a dog buggy after surgery or for arthritis?

The MOON Dog enables gentle, safe mobility during the important healing and rest phase after surgery, as well as joint-friendly movement with arthritis or age-related weakness. Talk to your vet — the buggy is a recognised aid.

How do I get my dog used to a buggy — tips for starting out?

In short, positive sessions: set the buggy up at home, add a blanket and a snack, and let your dog explore it freely. Keep first rides short and in familiar surroundings — then extend them step by step.

Why does a good dog buggy cost so much — is it worth it?

Stability, safety, longevity. MOON has developed high-quality prams for many years — the MOON Dog carries that know-how over precisely to the needs of dog and owner. A buggy that is genuinely built for movement.

Which dog buggy should I buy — what suits my dog?

Your dog's weight is decisive: up to 8 kg → City (city everyday). Up to 15 kg → Country (demanding tours, all-wheel suspension). Up to 35 kg → Trailer Outdoor (real adventures). If your dog is close to a limit, choose the next size up.

Can my dog fall or jump out of the buggy?

No. On City and Country two straps with carabiners keep your dog secured — the dog stays inside, even when the buggy is parked or you stop walking.

Is the MOON Dog waterproof — can I go out in the rain with it?

The fabric is weatherproof and water-repellent (gabardine weave), protecting against splashes and light rain. For prolonged rain we recommend an additional rain cover.

How long does delivery take and can I return the buggy?

Reserve now and you are served in the first batch. Country is out in early November, City in December. Trailer Outdoor follows afterwards. For returns and delivery details, write to us at info@moon-dog.de.
